We are pleased to announce the completion of the largest photovoltaic park, El Romero, located in the Atacama Desert, Chile. This large-scale project, valued at $343 million, represents a significant step toward advancing green energy and building a sustainable future.
El Romero photovoltaic park covers an area of 280 hectares and is one of the largest renewable energy facilities in the region. The park will annually generate a substantial amount of clean energy, significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions and decreasing Chile’s reliance on fossil fuels.
The project was executed with the support of Spanish company Acciona, a leader in renewable energy. The collaboration between Del Mar Energy and Acciona has resulted in a cutting-edge facility that not only provides sustainable energy but also contributes to the region’s economic development by creating new jobs and attracting investments.
El Romero photovoltaic park will make a significant contribution to the global fight against climate change and assist Chile in achieving its renewable energy goals.
